Both of these races were won by John, using a combination of the 14'8" and the Starboard 11'2".

John says:

"Saturday's perfect windless conditions made for a perfect circumnavigation of Brownsea Island. It was great to be paddling around such a picturesque island while enjoying the competitiveness of the race. It was good to see a bunch of new faces competing at the event. Sunday's spectator friendly racing was good and sprinting up the beach to the finish line in front of the spectators was a great feeling."

Next stop on the SUP tour is the Wight Air contest next weekend. John is leading the Endurance rankings and is ranked 3rd in the Surf division, so the final two events will be decisive. keep an eye on www.standuppaddlesurf.co.uk for more info.
